Every moment counts
Education has long been the tool that has allowed people to seek social mobility. While Singapore has a reputable and recognized primary and secondary school education, lower-income students have unequal access to these prestigious educational institutions as they do not have the opportunity to have a preschool education, where they can have an earlier start on English, science, and mathematics. This widens the income and education gap in Singapore between the less fortunate and the fortunate. Although the government has taken steps to improve access to quality, affordable preschools for lower-income families much more can be done. SPES wants to assist in reducing this hidden educational gap that will widen without help.

Making an impact
We find families and students and help provide the tuition.
SPES is an NGO that aims to utilize the strengths of Singapore’s education system to help lower income families to have equitable education quality.
I find great joy in knowing that this organization has impacted peoples’ access to education and now can help make this world a better place.
Helping close the education gap everywhere, especially when it’s hidden in countries like Singapore is an important problem we ought to solve.
